There are two parts to this workshop:
1. Intelligences: based on multiple intelligence theory (Gardner, 1983)
2. Self-Regulation: based on self-regulated learning theory (Zimmerman, 1998)
Part I: Intelligences
Your child will:
Learn about 8 different ways of processing information
Explore his/her own unique gifts
Ways to personalize their own learning and academic needs
Equip your child to be confident learners because they understand how they learn best.
Part II: Self-Regulation
Your child will:
Learn about planning, monitoring, and reflecting during learning
Explore their current study habits
Be introduced to 6 ways to improve their study skills
Your child will understand how to organize their time, schedule, and tasks.
